Western Washington University will hold a meeting to introduce the proposed addition to Buchanan Towers at 7 p.m. on June 9 in the Viking Union room 567.
The plans for the five-story, 35,000-square-foot proposed addition, which will be located east of the existing dormitory building, will be unveiled in front of neighbors and community members to generate questions and comments about the project before the university applies to the city of Bellingham for a planned development permit.
