Polo will stay in Saratoga County, though development could take place near the historic fields, the new owners of the Saratoga Polo Club announced Monday.
Jim Rossi, a business and marketing strategist of Saratoga Springs; Michael Dean, of Saratoga Hotel Group; and Michael Bucci, a Rochester businessman and Siena College graduate, closed a $1.2 million deal to purchase the club's 42 acres at the corner of Denton and Bloomfield roads from former polo player Bill Ylvisaker on Friday.
